Case Study 1: Payaza Rebrand & International Launch
This case study highlights the Payaza 2.0 rebrand and international launch led by me. The project involved a complete rebranding and go-to-market execution across Africa, the U.S., Canada, the U.A.E., and the U.K., with responsibilities including messaging development, UI/UX overhaul, asset creation, and localized campaign implementation. The team managed a global rollout across five regions, launched with influencer and media partnerships, and set up analytics tracking. The initiative resulted in a successful rebrand across four countries within three months, achieving over $18.5M in transaction volume in the first quarter and a 42% increase in merchant onboarding.
Case Study 2: Bank78 Branding & U.S Launch
As a Brand and Marketing Consultant for Bank78, I led the full rebranding and developed a go-to-market strategy in preparation for the bank’s expansion into the U.S. market following its newly acquired license. The project involved repositioning Bank78 as a modern, accessible financial solution across Africa while laying the groundwork for U.S. entry. I spearheaded brand rollout campaigns across key African markets, crafted localized messaging, and developed a comprehensive GTM playbook for the U.S. Despite regulatory delays in the U.S. launch, the rebrand drove strong results—over 27,000 users were onboarded in Africa within the first year, and Bank78 was awarded “Brand of the Year” 2024 in Nigeria.
Case Study 3: Blaaiz App – Influencer-Led Awareness & Conversion Drive
As the Product Marketing Head at Blaaiz, I led the strategy and execution of an influencer-driven video campaign aimed at increasing brand awareness, app downloads, and KYC completion among Africans in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Europe. The campaign leveraged trending content to spark virality, featured three culturally resonant video ads, and partnered with high-impact influencers across North America. We ran optimized YouTube and Instagram ads independently for better budget control and introduced a $10 KYC bonus plus a $50 transaction incentive to drive user action. Using Google Ads, Meta, and mobile analytics tools for tracking, the campaign generated over 8,000 users within 48 hours, with 4,010 completing KYC during that period. In the first 12 months, Blaaiz acquired 21,072 users, 18,960 of whom completed KYC, and 15,125 became active transacting users. The campaign also led to an organic increase of 4,500+ social media followers, and the trend video earned over 7,000 positive comments, with many calling it the best ad of 2025.
Case Study 3: Mozzart Bet – SEO, SEM & Push Campaigns to Increase User Base
As the Marketing Manager for Africa at Mozzart Bet, I led localized digital campaigns across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya to drive user registrations and increase daily betting activity in a highly competitive market. I managed Google Ads and Meta campaigns by region, implemented audience targeting and behavioral retargeting, and used OneSignal push notifications to boost retention and upsells. I also optimized the platform using SEMrush for betting-related keywords and developed high-converting banners and weekly promo content. These efforts resulted in over 7,000 new users within 12 months, an 18% reduction in customer acquisition cost, a 27% increase in daily active users, and strong ROI from targeted push campaigns.
